 At Destiny Empowerment Center, we are focused on adhering to the following nine values:

 We believe in equipping people with the training, tools, and sense of purpose necessary to take control of their personal and professional careers. When individuals are empowered to take ownership, better outcomes are achieved all around. 

  We believe in creating a better world by serving people in need.  Our services lend a helping hand to the underprivileged and underserved youth, single adults and extended families to obtain basic needs of food, clothing, safety and health. 

 We believe in providing mobile and stationary dental care initiatives that are aimed at improving oral health and to increase access to quality oral health care in underserved communities. This increases dental access to the number of individuals currently in underserved and uninsured communities (including but not limited to the working poor, children, elderly, Native Americans, migrant and seasonal workers, the homeless, individuals with limited English-speaking proficiency, and single heads of household) 

 We believe in upholding the dignity of every human being, and assisting them in maximizing their potential. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community centered on kindness, compassion, and non-judgmental support. We are working to build a culture of inclusion that champions the success of each and every member of the community. 

 We believe that knowledge is power, and that people can only truly make confident decisions when they are armed with a wealth of information to guide them as they embrace their destiny. 

 We believe a critical step in preparing people for leadership is through proper mentorship and coaching. People at any life stage thrive when they can model themselves after, and aspire to be like,  the experienced mentors who guide them. 

 We believe that in a world of constant pressure, all people have the greatest potential to thrive when supported by a safe and welcoming community. Within this community, every person can be prepared to reach their dreams. Strong communities are built on strong parenting and family relationships, so we work diligently to support family units as a core component of a healthy community. 

 We believe in the power of simple encouragement to lift the spirits of struggling people, while helping them believe in themselves as they meet the challenges they face in their daily lives. A little encouragement goes a long way in helping broken people find their way forward. 

 We’re on a mission to identify our weaknesses and make continuous improvements, and we encourage others to do the same. We are always working to discover the best practices and implement new ideas so that we can apply them in our relentless and unwavering mission to become the best possible versions of ourselves.
